Argentina. EditShare will have available for production, post production and broadcast professionals to see and test the solutions at Caper 2015 in Buenos Aires. Among the products that will be at your stand are:
The range of XStream shared storage solutions that allows creatives to collaborate and deliver content on time and on budget. From capturing the media in the most remote of places to managing petabytes of data from the largest organizations, there is an XStream storage system for every scenario.
Now included with each EditShare storage system as part of the Flow Toolset (MAM), and also available for integration with qualified third-party storage products such as Avid ISIS 5500, AirFlow allows organizations the ability to provide secure remote access to external collaborators directly from their own production site.
Designed to manage 4K productions and more, the EditShare collaborative workflow platform maintains the quality of all files – whether proRes 4444 XQ, Sony XAVC or RED (. R3D), or formats such as DPX, CinemaDNG, ARRIRAW, PNG or TIFF - throughout the production line.
Flow is an integrated solution that allows the automation of tasks as well as the cataloguing of all the material. A change in the metadata, or through watch folders, Flow allows distributed transcoding and the option of delivery via FTP obviating the need to use third-party services. And thanks to AirFlow, remote users can access the media found on an XStream storage system from anywhere in the world through the AirFlow web client.
The final piece to make this collaborative platform the true backbone of any high-resolution workflow is integration with the Ark. Editors can easily search the Flow database, which contains proxies of all archived assets, and with a few clicks, migrate the original content back to the XStream main storage, regardless of whether the content is stored on Ark nearline (disk) or Ark Tape (LTO tape) Arca.
