Latin America. At the headquarters of the Foundation of the New Latin American Cinema, in the city of Havana (Cuba), the act of signing the agreement was carried out through which the Capital Channel of Colombia joins the Human Rights Channel hosted on the TEIb - ATEI web platform.
The Human Rights Channel was born within the framework of 'Digital Television and Citizen Participation, I Meeting of Ibero-American Televisions' that took place from September 10 to 13, 2014 in the city of Medellín (Colombia).
The Manager of Canal Capital, Lisandro Duque, highlighted the importance of this agreement and the role of Canal Capital throughout its trajectory in the field of human rights, so for Canal Capital "this is very important to contribute to the visibility of Human Rights through audiovisual content transmitted via WebTV on the online platform of the TEIb Program".
As Alberto García Ferrer, Secretary General of TEIb – ATEI, comments, this channel aims to "protect and give visibility to human rights, as well as to the activities, actions and works that are carried out for their respect and achievement, becoming a space of reference". This channel houses all audiovisual products aimed at the visibility and dissemination of human rights.
