Colombia. Under the slogan "Cinema at your fingertips", the first version of Smartfilms will be held, a film festival in which films created specifically with smartphones will participate. The idea of the festival is to expand the film spectrum of the world through new technologies, social networks and digital marketing trends; making the films are made and exhibited by and for all types of users.
Through the festival, the big brands that wish to be at the forefront with new technologies, will be able to be a direct part of the construction of the event in which entertainment, art, culture and of course, technology will be combined.
For four days, from August 27 to 30, the world of cinema, television, technology and the digital market will be concentrated in a great fair for all types of people. We will have the participation of guest artists, singers, staging and conferences.
Within the framework of the festival, the best work will be awarded in three categories: children, amateur and professional. The call and reception of works closes on May 30.
