Venezuela. VIVOplay and Caracol Television signed an agreement that will allow Latino audiences in the world to enjoy the highest quality productions through the platform.
In a first stage, series of great regional relevance will be broadcast such as: "Sin Tetas no Hay Paraíso", "El Cartel de los Sapos 1 y 2", "La Teacher de Inglés", "El Encantador" and "La Ruta". Colombian productions that reach the world public through VIVOplay, which seeks to increase its offer with programming for all tastes, thus being a new window of entertainment that connects with Latin American roots.
"With this agreement between VIVOplay and Caracol we seek to ratify our commitment to publicize Latin American talent. Both companies want to offer the public more windows of access to their preferred content," said VIVOplay CEO Carlos Hulett.
VIVOplay, like Caracol, seeks to distribute entertainment content through alternative channels that can be enjoyed on various connection platforms such as TV, PC, tablet and smartphone.
With the VIVOplay application, the programmer is the consumer himself, as he can choose between the linear offer offered by the platform or order signals on demand for devices with Android, iOS and web systems. This subscription television platform "Over the top" (OTT) brings together the best audiovisual material from each Latin American country, concentrating on information, news and entertainment for consumers around the world.
To install the application the user only has to visit the website www.vivoplay.net, register with a login and password, download the application from Google Play or App Store on their preferred device and start enjoying their favorite contents.
In 2015 VIVOplay and Caracol will offer more premieres and new titles. In addition, fans of digital television will be able to watch Caracol content wherever and whenever they want in the VOD gallery offered by the television channel.
