Latin America. AIDA Imaging recently released software that promises to transform the way automated tracking is experienced on the latest models in its line of PTZ cameras.
With the use of facial recognition through Artificial Intelligence, the brand has managed to simplify and significantly improve the auto-tracking feature without the need to manually control the Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ).
The new software uses facial recognition to be able to automatically track a person effortlessly. Users should ensure that the target is clearly visible and only in the frame for optimal Auto-Tracking.
One of the key features of this new system includes the ability to adjust and lock the position and scale of the target, as well as being able to switch between different people near the main target. It also allows you to set swivel and tilt limits on the cameras to delimit the area in which they will work. An important quality that enhances the flow when working with several cameras simultaneously, automating the work area of each one individually.
To take full advantage of these features, AIDA Imaging launched a process where users must fill out a form to determine if their PTZ camera model is eligible for such an upgrade. Depending on the situation, a download link will be provided or a visit to an authorized dealer or repair center will be necessary.
This new software, focused on automatic tracking, promises to significantly improve the user experience, offering a powerful tool when it comes to using your PTZ cameras in video conferences, events, and live broadcasts. While the upgrade is not mandatory, everyone interested in future enhancements should install the software to get the most out of their investment in all AIDA Imaging products.
So far, only three PTZ models have been chosen to be able to perform the software update. First up with the PTZ-NDI3-X20, this model features built-in OSD controls, PoE (Power over Ethernet) support, and a 20x optical zoom. It also allows you to capture vibrant images at resolutions up to 1080p, with support for up to 120fps via HDMI and NDI|HX3 over IP.
The PTZ4k-NDI-X12 model has a 12x optical zoom and can stream up to UHD 4K60 via HDMI and IP/NDI|HX and simultaneously up to UHD 4K60 via HDMI and USB-C 3.0. In addition, it includes a temporary noise reduction filter with motion compensation, which allows you to reduce noise without blurring. Finally, there's the PTZ4K-NDI-X30, with the same qualities as the previous model, but with a 30x zoom.
As a direct distributor of Aida Imaging, you will soon be able to get these PTZ camera models from Pinnacle Group. This strategic step reinforces the company's commitment to making the most advanced tools available to the community, thus expanding the creative and professional possibilities of all those who seek to stand out in the world of content production and transmission.
