Latin America. TVyVideo and the TecnoTelevisión fairs will present this Friday, July 16, the 5G for Media Summit, a virtual and free event to learn more about 5G technology and its implementation in our region.
This one-day training day begins with the panel: 5G and its impact on Broadcast, in which we will analyze how the implementation of 5G in Latin America is progressing and what are the benefits it will have for the broadcast industry.
Moderated by Richard Santa, editor of TVyVideo+Radio, the panel will feature:
- José Otero, Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean of the 5G Americas Association
- Juan Pablo Alviz, COO/CTO of the Albavision Group and president of the Research and Development Laboratory of Tolú.
- Israel Madiedo, Innovation and Technology Director of Izzy Telecom
In addition, the day will feature the following talks:

• User behavior in the face of 5G technology, by Carlos Antonio Valverde, Audiovisual Producer and Master in Multimedia Design at the Catholic University of Cuenca

• What is 5G? and its adoption in Latam, by Carlos Pantsios, PhD in telecommunications electronics
