According to Comscore, the lockdown increased the use of online entertainment services by up to four times, consolidating Mexico and Latin America as the regions with the highest demand. Faced with this scenario, VIX - CINE & TV, a free streaming platform, doubled its audience in the last two months and is positioned as one of the most downloaded apps in Mexico.
In Mexico, thousands of new users a day are added to VIX - CINE & TV. The average consumption of this service in the country is two hours a week, which is played 62% on smart televisions, 52% on mobile phones, and computers with 31%. It should be noted that, for each user, the content is viewed on average on up to 3 devices.
The VIX - Cinema & TV service had an exponential growth of users due to its attribute of gratuity.
