Latin America. Telestream appointed Juanchy Mejía as Senior Sales Director for Latin America. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Mejia will manage all sales offices in the region.
With more than 20 years of experience in the media industry, Mejia comes to join Telestream from Interra Systems, where he was Senior Sales Director for Latin America and the Southeast U.S., for seven years. Mejia previously worked as a television producer for Univision, before dedicating his career to broadcast equipment consulting as a sales director at Digital Broadcast and Harris Broadcast.
"The Latin American market is poised for strong growth in streaming streaming in the OTT and linear broadcast markets," says Mejía. "With the constant evolution of formats and workflows, it has never been more important for customers to choose a solution provider that can support their business goals. And as more content creators target viewers directly, quality control and monitoring have become essential."
As a technology sales professional with extensive experience in media production, broadcast and streaming, Mejia looks forward to building strong partnerships with broadcasters, production studios, streaming providers and resellers across the region.
