Chile. On May 16, 2019, David & Joseph developed a workshop at the Kiné-Imágenes facilities to present the Ursa mini pro 4.6 G2 cameras and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, from the brand of professional cinema cameras Blackmagic Design.
The event featured Tor Rolf Johansen, Blackmagic Design camera specialist and winner of six Emmy Awards for directing and producing, and one as Director of Photography in the Los Angeles market.
Robert Díaz, ambassador in Chile of DaVinci Resolve, also attended the workshop, enriching it with his important career as Audiovisual Communicator Duoc Uc Santiago de Chile, Veteran Colorist DaVinci Resolve, Ambassador of Blackmagic, Director of Commercials and Director of video clips in large television stations in the country such as Canal 13 and Televisión Nacional de Chile.
The workshop, which began at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 3:00 p.m., consisted of the outdoor recording and studio with the Peruvian model Rosa Pérez Bermúdez, with the Ursa mini pro 4.6 G2 cameras and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and with the new codec of the brand called Blackmagic RAW (BRAW), material that was previously processed in DaVinci Resolve.
This activity gave the opportunity to 20 participants in the field, such as producers, cinematographers, filmmakers, cinematographers, post-producers and colorists, to discover the flexibility and potential of the new codec, in addition to the capacity of the cameras used.
On the other hand, Kiné-Imágenes, a company of great importance of post-production in Chile dedicated to working in national and international film productions, also had the opportunity to show its facilities, the workflow they currently have with DaVinci Resolve and its Atmos Dolby room.
