Latin America. Samsung's 20181 and 2019 Smart TVs will feature the new Apple TV app in more than 100 countries and offer AirPlay 2 support in 176 countries.
The app is fully integrated into the Samsung Smart TV platform, where users can select the Apple TV app icon to conveniently access their entire catalog of iTunes movies and TV shows, as well as browse the catalog of more than 100,000 movies and TV shows offered by iTunes to buy or rent.
In addition, many of these titles are available in the impressive 4K HDR image quality. Customers around the world can also now subscribe to Apple TV channels within the app, paying only for the ones they're really interested in, and watch them whenever they want right in the app.
In addition, Samsung Smart TV users will be able to enjoy Apple TV+ (Apple's original video subscription service) in the Apple TV app when this service begins in the fall. With Samsung Smart TVs supporting AirPlay 2, users will now also be able to play videos and other content effortlessly from their iPhone, iPad or Mac directly on their TV.
The Apple TV app will be compatible with all Samsung Smart TV services, such as Universal Guide, Bixby and Search, to deliver an unmatched experience on Samsung's platform.
