Latin America. The implementation of IP systems in workflows is a process that is very advanced, said Pedro Mees, Sales Director for Latin America at JVC.
"For us who are producers of cameras we are very focused on contributions by IP, we have a very advanced flow, the contribution when it enters the station less and less you have to change for baseband, that is, those virtual inputs already go directly to the switcher. Little by little the IP is being integrated into the workflows of the television stations, of the production companies so that the baseband output is in a more advanced state, "said the executive.
He mentioned that for the attendees of NAB Show 2019, the company presented a wide catalog of solutions. "Many new things, for example we implement in the cameras the connectivity that we already have streaming, FTP flows, remote control, we add video return by the IP and FV connection which allows us to connect with the camera only being connected by whatever means. Once the camera has 4G or WiFI connectivity or the camera is with all those features available."
He added: "We also implement NDI outputs in our PTZ cameras; we implemented a new switcher that is six inputs -Connected Cam Studio-, which allows the inputs to be physical in baseband or to be virtual. This switchers also allows synchrony by IP, that is, you can make an event with three cameras, transmit to the station and receive the three synchronized signals because one of the problems when receiving IP is that the endings are not synchronized and we already have that problem solved, which allows remote productions.
