NAB. In its presentation of news during NAB Show 2019, headed by its CEO Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design presents several novelties, among which the pocket camera battery grip, an update of the Ursa Mini 4.6K ProG2 camera, a Davinci resolve Editor Keyboard and the new generation of Davinci Resolve that arrives at the 16.
This version has more than 100 new tools, among which are 8K editing, color grading, audio post-production and visual effects. It also provides collaboration options because several professionals can participate in the same project simultaneously.
Version 16 also includes a new module designed specifically for editors who need to deliver projects quickly and on tight deadlines. And adjustment clips provide the ability to apply effects and color corrections to others in the bottom timeline, and it's possible to upload projects very quickly to platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo from anywhere in the interface.
8K Systems
Blackmagic Design also announced several new products focused on 8K, including the HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR professional recorder with H.265 encoding; the HyperDeck Extreme Control; the Atem Constellation 8K mixer with 4 M/E banks, 40 inputs, 24 outputs and 4 simultaneous viewing windows; and the Teranex Mini SDI to HDMI 8K HDR signal monitor with 33-point 3D LUT.
Course in Spanish
As one of the novelties presented by Blackmagic Design at NAB Show, there will be two courses on Davinci Resolve completely in Spanish, which will take place at the company's stand on Monday, April 8 and Wednesday, April 10 at 5 pm. Both will be in charge of the Colombian expert Diego Yhamá.
