NAB. In his annual meeting with customers and representatives from around the world in Las Vegas, Jeff Rosica, CEO and President at Avid, called for rethinking and reinventing himself to be able to move forward in this moment of transformation that the industry is experiencing with digital disruption.
The company, which today has more than 33 thousand professionals and artists members of its association, took advantage of the meeting to launch its novelties prior to NAB Show, including the update of some of its systems, as well as the Avid Nexis Cloud Spaces and the new Avid Link App to connect and collaborate with users of its technology and discover the news.
But undoubtedly one of the topics that most caught the attention of Avid this year, was the presentation of its completely renewed Media Composer, which allows you to work more creatively taking advantage of a new user experience, an Avid media engine with distributed processing, finishing and delivery capabilities, a customizable user based on roles, as well as interface for large teams.
In addition, Avid launched Media Composer Enterprise, for post-production, broadcast, media education, and other larger production teams. It allows you to customize the interface and adapt workspaces for different roles, giving end users access to only the tools and features they need. It also integrates with Editorial Management 2019 to deliver collaborative workflow innovation for post-production and allows creative teams to stay in sync.
These solutions are complemented by Media Composer Distributed Processing, a complementary option that reduces response times and accelerates post-production by sharing the media processing load.
