Twitter achieved premium video deals for Latam

Latin America. Premium content on sports, news and entertainment for Latin America, are part of the agreements reached by the social network Twitter so that content advertisers can connect with audiences of great value during important events and great cultural attraction for the public.

The announcement was made during its first TwitterFronts event for Latin America, in which Twitter's Vice President of Content Partnerships, Kay Madati (@kaymadati) presented the list of 11 content agreements with more than 30 premium video collaborations for Latin American audiences. 

"When something happens in the world, it happens first on Twitter. And at the heart of the global conversation is highly engaging content that we've developed in collaboration with some of the region's best and most recognized players," said Kay Madati.

"We are thrilled to be able to bring these new content alliances to audiences in Latin America. Our ability to unite premium video with the most important moments and live conversations in the region will allow brands to be part of the cultural zeitgeist in real time," said Pepe López Ayala, General Manager for Spanish-Speaking Markets in Latin America, Twitter.

The new programming, original and live, which was presented on sports, news, entertainment and content creators, within the framework of TwitterFronts, includes:

●      FOX Sports Latin America: Sports fans in Latin America can turn to Twitter to see the highlights of the top soccer championships in the world. This collaboration will bring videos with the best plays, the most important statistics, interviews with players and much more.

●      NBA: With fresh content including this season's live highlights, and tweets in Spanish and Portuguese, this deal brings content about the games at Christmas, "All Star weekend" and the semifinals.

●      NFL: The NFL will bring real-time video highlights, behind-the-scenes content, and two weekly live shows to the Latin American audience on Twitter, a magnificent opportunity for advertisers as the NFL will hold an official game in Mexico in November.

●      Reuters: It will broadcast "The Money Race" on Twitter, a program that will feature Reuters correspondents from Mexico City to Buenos Aires. The program will focus on the biggest and most important business stories of the week, associated with career, life and investment decisions, faced by people across the region.

●      VICE: Vice's compelling voice, and the immediacy and power for Twitter conversation, combine in VICE en Español, which will develop a live program for Twitter called "Entre Tiempos" that turns the breaks of the football half-times into hilarious video game playoffs among the fans or influencers of the teams that are facing each other.

●      Buzzfeed: In addition to clips, highlights and personalized content from Buzzfeed News Mexico and Bien Tasty, BuzzFeed will also broadcast on Twitter "Yo Nunca Nunca", a comedy series where three people test their limits and compete face to face to see who can complete three hilarious challenges and win a prize. "Yo Nunca Nunca" will premiere in 2019 with six episodes, and plenty of branding opportunities available to advertisers.

●      Sony Pictures Television: The Sony Latin America Channel account will feature exclusive content and highlights from the following programs, which are the most popular:

○      Shark Tank: From Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. With special content and highlights of local versions in Latin America of the world's most popular business reality show, Shark Tank.

○      The Voice U.S.: Music and reality shows are the most talked about topics on Twitter, and music fans make up one of the largest communities on the platform. Fans in Latin America will be able to see highlights of the clips and behind the scenes of the popular Sony Channel reality show The Voice (American version), which is part of the offer for "Sigue la Música" on Canal Sony.

●      Turner: It will allow fans to follow what's happening throughout the 2019 Awards season through red carpet broadcasts and previous live shows, highlights, and special content from the following awards shows: Golden Globes, The Oscar's, Emmy's, GRAMMY's, Teen Choice, and Latin GRAMMY's.

●      Viacom: MTV and Nickelodeon will offer premium content for up to three months around the MTV Miaw and Nickelodeon KCA awards talks. Special content, live deliveries from the red carpet, highlights, interviews, fun moments, and much more, are broadcast from Brazil and Mexico for the MIAW awards; and from Argentina, Brazil and Mexico for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.

Content Creators
Niche, Twitter's creator network, introduced Creator Originals, a unique opportunity for advertisers to partner with the best creators on Twitter with the goal of achieving brand-appropriate original premium content. This offer was announced on stage with @DaniellBautista and @DanielleFClyde, the first Latin American creators to be part of Creator Originals.
