Mexico. One of Panasonic's key business areas in Mexico is the broadcast sector. With recent developments in technologies such as 4K, robotic and studio cameras, as well as live production systems, the Japanese company is positioned as one of the favorites of Mexican and Latin American companies, said Guillermo Dávila, Sales Manager at Solutions Video & Imaging of Panasonic Mexico.
"We are showing the studio cameras, with a new 4K equipment, model 4000. That camera offers very good features to the market, mainly to TV channels, which will be a very good proposal. We are complementing it with robotic cameras, with three sensors, which are already being used by the studios," he said during the celebrations of Panasonic's first centenary globally and 40 years of the company in Mexico.
He added: "And we have a robotic camera with a single sensor of 1." We have a 4K monitor and live production systems, as well as the remote control that can control up to 99 cameras. We also showed the VariCam, a 4K cinema camera, which is one of the proposals we have for the broadcast industry."
Dávila added that the strength of the company is based on the constant trajectory of the Japanese firm in American territories. "We are a very recognized company in Mexico and already with these 40 years, we endorse our position in the market. We are a brand that develops technology and the requirement for new broadcast products will always be patent. There is uncertainty in the market and we must wait for everything to stabilize. The approach the company is taking is to provide solutions in different areas of the industry."
