Brazil. During the last version of SET Expo, the company AJA presented several of its latest solutions, including those focused on HDR and its Ki Pro Ultra Plus recorder, which is already available in the market.
Glen Green, regional manager for Latin America at AJA, told TVyVideo+Radio that the company's HDR solutions have aroused a lot of interest in broadcasters in Latin America, even TV Globo in Brazil and Televisa in Mexico are already using them.
One of the solutions showcased was the FS-HDR, a universal converter/frame synchronizer designed to meet the HDR and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) needs of broadcast, OTT, real-time live events and events environments, where low-latency processing and color fidelity is required for 4K/UltraHD and 2K/HD workflows.
The company also introduced the Ki Pro Ultra Plus, its multi-channel recorder that offers 1,2,3 or 4 channel HD recordings simultaneously in 1080 50/60p or Single Channel Mode, 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD recording and playback, with full HDMI 2.0 input and output (up to 12 bits of capture and output).
"Broadcasters in Brazil like our products for the quality, behavior and support we provide with robust and cost-effective solutions," concluded Glen Green.
