Latin America. Blackmagic Design announced that the final version of DaVinci Resolve 15, the professional program for editing, color grading, visual effects, graphic animations and audio post-production, is now available and can be downloaded for free from the company's website.
Blackmagic Design would like to thank the users who participated in the development of the beta version, tested different dynamics of working with the program, reported bugs and helped make DaVinci Resolve 15 even more reliable. Feedback and a strong sense of community were two extremely important aspects of the whole process. In addition, the company is grateful to the great team of professionals who collaborated and cared about DaVinci Resolve becoming the most extraordinary post-production solution on the market.
The new Version DaVinci Resolve 15 is a major update that offers visual effects and graphic animations. In this way, the program has become the only solution that integrates these features with tools for editing, color grading, audio post-production and collaboration between several users. It includes a module for Fusion with more than 250 functions that allow you to make compositions, retouch images, generate particles, create animated titles and much more. Likewise, the Fairlight module has been optimized and more than 300 improvements requested by editors and colorists have been implemented.
This gives the user greater creative flexibility, as they can explore different functions and learn how to use them. In turn, it encourages collaboration between different artists who can work simultaneously on the same project. Thanks to all these innovative tools, DaVinci Resolve 15 Studio was awarded this year with the prestigious award for excellence in engineering granted by the HPA (Hollywood Professional Association). These highlight the technical and creative inventiveness in the field of media and audiovisual production. DaVinci Resolve 15 Studio is the only system that allows editors, colorists, visual effects artists and sound specialists to work on the same project simultaneously.
"The public beta of DaVinci Resolve 15 has been downloaded more times than any other in the program's history, user feedback has been incredible, and more professional publishers are adopting it with a speed never seen before," said Grant Petty, CEO of Blackmagic Design.
