Argentina. The National Communications Agency, Enacom, approved a resolution to clarify that the minimum quota of 30% of independent local production, established in article 65 paragraph 2 (paragraph c) of Law No. 26522, must be premiered and distributed in the four time slots.
Through this measure, Enacom contributes to strengthening local content and independent production in audiovisual media.
On the other hand, within the framework of the policies it has been deploying to improve Internet service throughout the country, the entity approved the award of new Non-Reimbursable Contributions (NRAs) for more than six million pesos to cooperatives that provide telecommunications services in different parts of the country.
The Connectivity Program aims to universalize the Broadband Internet Access service in areas without coverage, improving the service in localities of up to 2,500 inhabitants and providing Internet for the first time in localities without coverage of up to 500 inhabitants.
