Latin America. LED lighting technology for the broadcast and film industry still has a long way to go. It's starting. At least in the next 50 years, this development will have many advances to offer image professionals, said José Noriega, CMO and Marketing Director of Fluotec.
"LED lighting is in its infancy, it's a cutting-edge technology. The technological advance that LEDs have meant many people still do not understand, but it is something as fantastic as the discovery of artificial light. I don't see a greater technological breakthrough than LED in the next 50 years. It is a technology that has just begun, our company has the first LED lighting products in 2011. We have seven years of having started with LED technology. It's taken a bit of work to integrate new people into this technology, but it's so advanced in terms of energy savings that I don't see better lighting than LED.
Noriega said: "We have managed to show that Fluotec's technological innovation is already a reality worldwide. In the last exhibition of Cine Gear Expo, Fluotec won the award for the best luminaire; at NAB in Las Vegas, again, for the second year in a row the best luminary of the entire show; and in this Expo Cine, TV y Video 2018 in Mexico, as usual, we always bring the products we present internationally for the Latin American and Mexican market".
On his participation in the Latin American market, Noriega said: "In Latin America we have done a very serious job. We are now probably the company that sells the most lighting; we have distributors in Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua. The Fluotec distribution network covers the entire Latin American market and already at the moment our distribution network in the United States is one of the strongest as well. We are in B&H, in Adorama, in Barbizon; in Boston, in Houston, in Austin. We have a sales office in Los Angeles. We have done a very interesting, very serious job of supporting the brand internationally."
