Mexico. After the launch of various solutions during NAB Show 2018, Avid presented to the Mexican public the main developments of the company, highlighting the integrations with partner companies such as Dolby and FilmLight, said Ángel Ylisastigui, Marketing Manager of Avid.
"We are bringing this year Editorial Management to manage all content in one place and at a price available to everyone. We have our graphics solutions with Maestro News; collaboration with ProTools and Media Composer, how they work together and how easy the interaction between one and the other is. Inside we have audio post-production, presenting Dolby Atmos – which we work very closely with Dolby to create the Atmos," he said during Expo Cine, TV y Video 2018.
He highlighted the technological offer for those attending the Avid stand: "We have the Technology Theater, where we make presentations every day, every hour on a different topic, whether it is editing, post-production, audio. We have one of our partners, FilmLight, who is talking about Baselight integration and color correction with Media Composer. It's one thing we're trying to do with every show: bring in a partner to show the whole market that we're a completely open platform and they can come in with any other company and trying to evangelize the brand here in Mexico."
The executive announced that the brand will offer the presentation of new and important developments during IBC 2018, to be held next September in Amsterdam, Holland.
