Latin America. In diverse industries, ranging from broadcast to cable TV to security companies, Platinum Tools offers innovative solutions. Jason Chesla, Marketing Manager of the company, highlighted the positive presence they have in Latin America.
"We are very interested in the size or amplitude of connection for the RJ45 or VNC connectors, COAX, RJ59 and then we have hand tools to help the wirer with the connectors, with anything you want to do. So we have cable from the run to the tests, so we have cable testers to be able to check the quality of the cable. We also have cable maintenance products like our HVRJ hook and others that meet all the specifications installers need and are very popular," he said during NAB Show 2018.
"These tools enter a very wide variety of markets from broadcast to security. They also enter the ccTV security industry, for cable TV, telecommunications, so there are multiple markets where lower voltage cables are used."
Chesla stressed that the breadth of products and markets is a priority for the company: "That is a new approach of our company. In the last year we have focused on growing our sales channel in the south of the continent and it is a new expansion, we are very excited to do things in Latin America."
He highlighted the Latin American markets where they are present: "We have been quite active in Chile, Brazil and probably Mexico. Those are the most active countries for now. We are still trying to develop the distribution channel. We definitely want to grow as much as possible and I think our products work very well in Latin America."
