Latin America. One of broadcast Depot's main markets is Latin American countries, despite special conditions from each of the nations in the region. However, the growth of the company is evident, with solutions such as SimplyLife, explained Danilo Bautista, Sales Manager of the company.
"The market in Latin America is doing well. In some countries we have the political issue that makes it difficult, but in general it is fine. There are good projects in Puerto Rico in the wake of the tragedy of Hurricane Maria, the government has given funds to rehabilitate the TV and radio transmission part. Currently, in addition to Puerto Rico, we hired an engineer in the United States to increase sales, particularly in Tampa," he said during his participation in NAB Show 2018.
On the company's products, Bautista highlighted: "We have the SimplyLife which is an all-in-one production system; it includes graphics, camera switching, and the main thing about the system are the replays: with four, six, eight or 16 channels. It is based on touchscreen technology or also additional jog for those who want the traditional type of repetition."
He also detailed: "We have the virtual console of Axia, which allows virtualizing the traditional feed console on a touch screen and in the same concept of SimplyLife, and apart from that screen is integrated into the automation system of social networks; any other source needed by the operator to work the radio on a single screen. You no longer need another console or computer, you do it on a single screen. It is fully integrated. It offers the same technical features in a compact way. The day-to-day operation is based on few things: sometimes you need an external source or something additional, but the everyday is on the screen, which implies lower cost and an easier workflow, because you do not need so many people or devices, because on a screen you have solutions. "
