"We are offering the traditional line of pallets and amplifiers, which many people have selected for years. And we are including PBI's series of modulators and encoders for broadcast – in which we have just made an agreement for its distribution in Latin America. They were focused on cable, and now they also have a line for broadcast with a series of very flexible options and it is very easy for us to integrate with them. We are promoting both solutions together," he said during NAB Show 2018.
The executive said that Latin American markets will have great growth in the near future. "The Latin American area has remained, at least in the region we have traditionally managed. There are countries that are practically off; gradually we have opened up a market in regions such as the United States on the subject of repack, and that has allowed us to integrate more complex solutions and not just stay on the subject of amplifiers."
And he detailed: "We cover first band, FM band, third band, all UHF, HF as well and we also have a band of amplifiers for 200 and 300 MHz, which is used a lot in the United States. In 2018 we are working up to 3 kV digital and we hope to reach up to 5 or 6 kV in digital transmitters, that would be the aspiration."
