NAB. Artec will be back at the NAB Show as an exhibitor to present version 2.0 of Continuity, an application developed by the Mexican company to maximize productivity in the recording of long-format programs such as telenovelas, series, feature films and reality shows.
Jaime Tovar, CEO of the company, stated that the objective of presenting CONTINUITY at the NAB is for Latin American producers of novels and series, who travel to Las Vegas to learn about the novelties in technology, to see this unique solution and evaluate the benefits of integrating Continuity into their productions.
This is the second year that Continuity is presented in Las Vegas, this time it premieres a new functionality that facilitates the cataloging and inclusion of metadata in the media. This allows you to integrate the scripts, recorded scenes and metadata to keep track of the elements in a scene, not only of props and costumes, but also of emotion.
Continuity performs an analysis of the scripts of the productions and segments them by scenes, automatically identifying the relevant metadata of each of them and linking it to its average, showing only the corresponding script. Continuity installs on a mobile device and works as an easy-to-use app.
In practice it has proven to be an effective tool to maintain continuity in the scenes of soap operas and series. Continuity is more than a database or images to consult, it is a support for the entire production team, the director and the actors.
