Argentina. The National Communications Agency, Enacom, extended the registration deadlines for the calls for competition of lines 3, 4 and 5 2017 of the Competitive Development Fund for Audiovisual Media, FOMECA, aimed at the media that are dedicated to the management and production of radio and audiovisual content.
The new closing dates for the presentation of projects are:
-Line 3 (Media Management): May 9, 2018
-Line 4 (Radio Content Production): April 13, 2018
-Line 5 (Audiovisual Content Production): April 20, 2018
The registration process must be carried out through the Distance Procedures (TAD) platform or through the AFIP website, validating the CUIT of the legal representatives of the entity. It is important to bear in mind that to register for this edition of the FOMECA contests it is mandatory that the entity has initiated the FOMECA Registration process, which is also carried out by the TAD platform.
On the other hand, modifications were made to the particular regulations that can be consulted in the Official Gazette through the following links: Line 3 (Media Management), Line 4 (Production of Radio Content), Line 5 (Production of Audiovisual Content).
The objective of these funds is to strengthen non-profit communication actors, community media and independent productions with the aim of promoting plurality of voices and access to technological tools, contributing to the generation of employment and the updating of the sector.
