International. The Circuit of the Americas outside Austin, Texas, hosted the first round of MotoAmerica, the first motorsport competition in the U.S. with broadcast graphics implemented by wTVision.
Two wTVision operators will be present at each round and will ensure the highest quality of graphics throughout the competition, through MotorStats CG and its own render engine. wTVision manages the classification in real time and integrates the official timing system into the television broadcast, produced by Imagina US for beIN Sports.
MotoAmerica's 2017 season kicked off at the Circuit of the Americas with two of its classes, Motul Superbike and Supersport, taking to the track for its opening rounds. The other classes, the KTM RC Cup and Superstock 600, will begin their seasons at Road Atlanta in the second round of the series.
MotoAmerica is the new North American road racing series created in 2014 and is a subsidiary of KRAVE Group LLC, a partnership that includes three-time 500cc world champion, two-time AMA Superbike champion and Hall of Famer Wayne Rainey, rider and former manager of Team Roberts, Chuck Aksland, motorsport marketing executive Terry Karges, and entrepreneur Richard Varner.
