Peru. The Ministry of Transport and Communications, MTC, reminded all broadcasters in Peru that during the month of February they must make the annual payment for the Canon for the use of the radio spectrum.
The MTC called on broadcasters to relaicen the payment as soon as possible, in order to avoid the inconveniences that may arise due to congestion during the last week of the month and the sanctions for doing so later, including the suspension of the procedures and authorizations pending before the entity. In addition, if you accumulate a debt for more than two years, it is considered grounds for annulling the authorizations.
Payment can be made at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (Jr. Zorritos 1203, Lima), as well as at the Banco de la Nación, at any Operations Agency nationwide. It is suggested that you check the amount of debt by calling (01) 615-78000, annexes 6549, 6544 and 7983 (Broadcasting Service), and 6547 (Private Service) or by emailing [email protected]
When approaching the MTC or the bank, you must indicate that it is an agreement between the bank and the MTC, to be carried out as a Collection Via Teleprocess with Database. Also, do not forget your RUC number and indicate that the transaction number is 9170.
