Caper. The company AEQ took advantage of the 2016 version of Caper to present in Argentina the intercom system for television, called CrossNet, a rack unit equipment with high quality audio.
Luis Miguel Sánchez, representative for Latam of the company, explained to TVyVideo+Radio that Crossnet incorporates, according to versions, up to 168 ports, of which 128 can be AoIP with DANTE technology compatible with the AES 67 standard, which can be connected comfortably through an ethernet network.
He also presented the new range of professional monitors, equipment that was used throughout the stand of OM System, one of the distributors of AEQ in Argentina, to show all the novelties in Caper and thus check its quality.
He stressed that "with another of our distributors, VEC, we presented IP solutions for radio with Dante. We include analog and digital tables, the new Venus V3 encoders also with Dante connectivity."
Finally, Luis Miguel Sánchez pointed out that the Argentine market is hopeful. "The last few years it has been closed, stopped, but it seems that with the political changes and the new facilities for customs issues, next year will be one of growth, the beginning of the economic movement."
