José Luis Vásquez, CEO of Mirada, told TVyVideo+Radio that "the company presented at IBC a product launched last July in partnership with the Televisa Group of Mexico, a multiscreen system in which Mirada has provided the tadicional set top boxes and the sending of the signal to the web and mobile devices. We have taken care of the whole process in a project that has been exciting and we thought it was the best example to show at IBC".
He added that Latin America, like Southeast Asia, are the two regions with the greatest growth possibilities and that is why the company's bet is to grow in these two areas.
"It has been very important the investment that we as a company have made in Latin America, opening offices in Mexico, increasing our local presence. Brazil has begun to recover, Mexico is very stable and strong, Colombia and Peru are very interesting markets. In general, the region should be present in the plans of any company that is thinking of increasing the development of digital television products," said José Luis Vásquez.
