Latin America. Snell Advanced Media, SAM, announced that Felipe Andrade has joined the company as Regional Sales Director in Brazil since September seven. With this appointment, the importance of Latin America for the company is confirmed, being the fourth person recently appointed for the region.
Andrade joins the company after 22 years in the industry, with a proven track record at companies such as Avid, Grass Valley and Sony. He is based in Sao Paulo and is responsible for all of SAM's business activities in Brazil, including direct engagement with key customers, channel network management of partners and system integrators and the development of new markets.
"We are excited to bring Felipe to the Latin American team. He brings a strong technical and commercial background, and channel management experience partners," said Rafael Castillo, Vice President for Latin America. "Felipe has strong relationships with many key customers inside and outside Brazil, which allows us to drive the business to higher levels."
The company stressed that Latin America continues to offer important opportunities for the company, as it expands its presence and provides its complete regional portfolio of clients, with Brazil being a key factor for success in the region.
