Latin America. Appear TV presented two new equipment to attend the transmission process that the region is currently experiencing. The first is the demodulator for the ISDB-Tb standard and the analog TV modulator, supported by the PAL-M modules for the XC5000 series. The modules will provide broadcasters with additional support from Brazilian digital terrestrial television standards.
"Appear TV is proud to offer its customers the ability to receive and transmit any input to any output. These two modules have been developed in order to meet the specific needs of the Brazilian market. When combined with any of our range of video signal processing modules and the XC5000 Series Modular Platform, users in the region will have the capacity to support current and emerging transmission standards," said Sergio Rentería, International Sales Manager of the company.
The units are part of a modular concept of Appear TV, which offers users a selection of modules to create a customized solution tailored to their needs. Signal inputs from any company can be captured and adapted to each signal output, with high-density and powerful video processing to any format and device.
The modular platform allows users to have multiple distribution format processes coming from a chassis, saving on hardware space and making it easy to make additions and improvements as new formats and transmission technologies emerge. In addition, they can work with other devices from other manufacturers, so it allows seamless integration with existing transmission equipment.
