Latin America. Due to the increasing importance of graphics in the news segments of Latin American television channels, TV and Video spoke with Miguel Churruca, Marketing Director of Brainstorm to delve a little deeper into the subject.
He stressed that the viewer no longer only expects good image quality and content, but also seeks that the graphics, infographics, tickers and all the elements of the branding of the chain adapt to their standards. That's precisely where the concern of the strings in their graphics comes from.
"The importance of on-air graphics is increasing, because the final look of the chain depends on the quality and creativity of them, and this concern is not only of Latin America but of the whole world," he said.
One of the highlights of Brainstorm in terms of graphics has to do with real-time 3D, a segment with which they accumulate an experience of 20 years. Today they have complex and all-terrain products such as eStudio, the graphic creation suite and virtual studios, to the "easy" range, which brings the power of eStudio to a larger user base, which is headed by EasySet 3D.
According to the director of Brainstorm, when the graphics look simple, either because of their lower quality or lack of creativity, the image of the chain suffers. "Television is synonymous with immediacy, and being able to generate, alter and broadcast complex 3D graphics rendered in real time provides an image that is difficult to match, both in quality and appearance."
