Latin America. EVS has appointed Richard Katz as Senior Vice President of Operations for the North America and Latin America (NALA) region. This appointment is integral to EVS's broader strategy to continue investing in the NALA region, anticipating significant growth and aiming to elevate customer service and project management to the highest industry standards on a global scale.
Richard's main objectives are to strengthen the structure of the region's operations team, raise service levels to world-class standards, and reinforce collaboration with the sales force. In his role, he will oversee all day-to-day operations and ensure the delivery of EVS's professional services, including customer support and project management. In addition, Richard will manage technical and support escalations to ensure customer satisfaction. These efforts aim to foster sustainable growth in this strategic region.
Richard brings to EVS a wealth of knowledge and experience in broadcasting and 2110 networking technology. Known for streamlining workflows, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and strategic resource allocation, he possesses a deep understanding of the broader video delivery chain, from production to CDN to OTT. Prior to his arrival at EVS, Richard was Vice President of Technology and Engineering at Pac-12 Networks, overseeing the production of hundreds of live-streamed events annually, consistently achieving smooth operations. He also held senior positions at IFIT, CSI Sports, and NBC Universal, demonstrating his operational leadership and strategic capabilities.
