International. After 24 years dedicated to working at Sony, Hideaki Nakamura, was appointed as director of the Professional Solutions division in Latin America.
In his career within the company, which he joined in Japan in 1987, after graduating from science and engineering at Keio University, he has held important positions in different parts of the world.
Among them manager of International Product Marketing broadcasting in Japan until 1994. The following year, he joined Sobec, former company name sony Professional Solutions Latin America, as Marketing and Accounting Manager until 1999.
That year he returned to Japan with the position of International Accounting Manager for the Professional Broadcasting division and was then sent to Dubai in 2008 as Managing Director of Sony Professional Solutions Middle East and Africa.
In this role, he was responsible for furthering Sony Corporation's vision and mission to foster the company's business expansion through these markets. Now it will do so in Latin America.
The company highlighted that Hideaki Nakamura brings an in-depth knowledge of the Latin American market and a wealth of experience working with emerging markets around the world.
