RGB Spectrum, a manufacturer of image display systems with two decades of market share, recently introduced MediaWall® Duo, an application that combines the power of two MediaWall image processors into a single control system. The solution offers all the functionality for large wall display devices with an easy-to-use virtual control panel that brings together two processors in one system. Graphics and video windows can be located anywhere on the screen.

Signal input windows can be configured globally (anywhere on the wall display) or regionally (in the left or right half of the wall display). A maximum of thirty-two windows can be viewed simultaneously with real-time performance.

Thanks to the incorporation of two MediaWall 2000 processors, the solution presented by the manufacturer supports up to twelve graphic data inputs and twelve video inputs simultaneously in a 2 x 4 display device, without losing the quality or slowing down the refresh rate of the image. If two more powerful MediaWall 2500 processors are used, the system supports up to sixteen graphics data inputs and sixteen video inputs on a 2 x 6 device.

MediaWall Duo responds to the many needs of computer image wall processing and uses specific processors with a built-in operating system that offers a true plug-and-play installation.

MediaWall 2000 comes in a compact 2U steel frame architecture, with replaceable front air filters, thermostat-controlled fans, and redundant power supplies. MediaWall 2500 features a 3U steel frame design. Both processors are a robust and reliable solution for the most demanding environments, and even for mobile applications.

MediaWall processors support all types of graphics input signals up to 1,920 x 1,200 and HDTV with maximum resolution and real-time performance, no frame loss and much higher performance than computer-based wall processors. They also offer greater reliability and security than competing processors.

MediaWall Duo supports an on-screen cursor to enjoy real-time "desktop" functionality across the entire video wall. The functions of this cursor include changing the position of the windows, as well as their size and priority.
