Network Electronics acquired VPG to become a leader of the industry in terms of transport solutions, routing and signal processing for transport reliable video at large and short distances. At NAB 2008 showed new modules in the range of Ventura VMPs for advanced compression, transmission and transport.
These solutions have been developed in order to facilitate the compression, transmission and economical transport of HD signals. The new modules include the encoder and JPEG 2000 decoder, an 8-fold multiplexer and demultiplexer Sonet/SDH channels, plus a universal adapter analog and digital video/audio for transport over optical fiber.
These enhancements provide Ventura customers with greater ability to overcome difficult challenges related to the transporting high-definition signals and managing various legacies of formats and the nascent formats of signals. Compression and long-distance interfaces extend the Ventura line reach, and conversion capability universal allows customers to adapt to requirements regulatory in metropolitan networks.
Network Electronics also continues to innovate in its lines traditional Flashlink and Viking equipment. In fact, at NAB 2008 multi-rate converter and transponder will be presented Flashlink, among other products.
