Codex Digital presented its award-winning recorder at NAB 2008 Field, Portable, for free-to-air television and film production in HD, 2K and 4K.
With the first units scheduled to go out to On sale in June 2008, the Portable recorder made its debut in the Band Pro booth at NAB 2008, in a demonstration of the entire Codex's end-to-end workflow, which included the capturing images in 1080p and 4:4:4 from a Sony F23 camera and the delivery of the recorded to various editing systems and composition.
