As part of the Animae Festival of the Caribbean, which will be held at from 25 to 27 September, the University of Trinidad and Tobago and toon Boom launched an animation contest on the internet. Open to the creative minds of the Caribbean and America Latina, the theme is Creating bridges of union between the Caribbean and Latin America through arts and festivals Local.
You can participate with animated productions, two minutes of duration and made with programs like Toon Boom Studio, Digital Pro, Adobe Flash, Shockwave (. SWF) or the like. All entries must respond to the theme of the contest. The date of production must be between September 1, 2007 and August 15, 2007 2008. The deadline for receipt of papers is 15 August. Games will not be allowed to participate.
The ten winning works will be exhibited during the Caribbean Festival of Animae, which will be held from 25 to 27 September, in Trinidad and Tobago. These will also be published on the Toon Boom website, where visitors can vote for the best work, between 1 and 12 September.
The three jobs with the highest vote will be available at line, for exhibition, for a year, also in the Toon Boom site.
