Red wants to do it this year again. On the company's website there is a banner, without link to nowhere, announcing a new camera model, the Scarlet. The banner only says that Scarlet is a camera digital cinematography professional, pocket (Pocket) Professional Digital Cinema Camera) and that the rest of the information will be available at NAB in Las Vegas starting of April 14.
User forums on the Internet they are burning. There is a lot of speculation and little if perhaps some confirmed information. It is expected that the Scarlet is based on the same technology as the Red One and that include 4K capture.
