Network Electronics announced the signing of a definitive agreement for the purchase of Video Products Group of California. Video Products Group (VPG), founded in 1985, is a supplier of professional video and audio transport systems for networks local and broad coverage, employing approximately 60 people around the world. Many of the major carriers rely on video transport and broadcasting services in VPG.
The contract combines the two companies in order to form a powerful player in the professional signal transport market video and audio. This business allows Network Electronics increase reach and scale with a comprehensive portfolio of products for the professional video transport market.
The market of the video to date presents a rapid consolidation and convergence, and it is important that companies can select video transport solutions, linking industries of broadcasting and telecommunications and maximizing the future flexibility.
