Days before the launch of the PMW-EX1, Sony announced a professional HDV camcorder level basic, adaptable to the shoulder, which will put the benefits of HD production within reach of a wider range of users.
The new model HVR-HD1000 is aimed at wedding videographers, professionals of self-employed video and content creators educational video.
The HVR-HD1000 supports HDV formats as much as standard definition DV. In mode DV, the unit can operate exclusively as a DV camcorder, which that allows the user to maintain a DV workflow and, when requires, instantly switch to high mode definition.
