Multibridge Eclipse offers 3 Gb/s SDI connections. HD-SDI normally operates at 1.5 Gb/s and these new SDI connections register twice the speed, at while retaining support for SDI equipment HD-SDI standard definition.
The most remarkable aspect points out that the company has developed a technology that allows the 2K (2048 x 1556) real-time connection to 3 Gb/s lines for video resolution of feature films. This means that can connect real-time 2K video between computers real-time 2K video, just as it is done today with videos of SD and HD.
Multibridge Eclipse captures and plays native 2K SDI via a single BNC cable, but also includes dual input and output ports for compatibility with current 4:4:4 double link equipment.
