The Colombian company EPM Telecommunications announced the choice of video head IPTV and AVC MPEG-4 encoders from Tandberg Television, for the implementation of the first IPTV service in Colombia.
As a provider of internet, VoIP and television services in that country, the new IPTV service will be part of the competitive triple package EPM play. The company will adopt the head platform of iPlex video, by Tandberg, to offer viewers Colombians more than 100 channels in real time and movies by demand.
