As part of its strategy of global expansion and to better serve broadcasters in the Americas Latin America and the Caribbean, the Broadcast Communications division of Harris Corporation announced plans to open a new they officiate in Miami. Scheduled to open in February, the new office will improve communications between representatives Harris regional and its clients located throughout the region. Reducing travel between the U.S. and destinations in Central America, South America and the Caribbean will allow the Harris representatives work more efficiently and respond faster to the needs of broadcasters and the intermediaries.
The recent acquisition Of Leitch Technology by Harris means that the company will offer a significant amount of resources to the broadcasters from Latin America and the Caribbean, revitalizing the commitment of the entire Broadcast Communications division of Harris with the market. Leitch's seven-year presence in Miami office means the two forces can collaborate directly in the development of new businesses, improve customer support and strengthen regional presence.
