The idea came up not so long ago. And his postulate is more than simple: "why not to offer as services everything we do on the Telefé screen", says Adrián Fernández, director of technology, operations and Telefé facilities.
Like this Telefé Servicios was born, a business unit of one of the main media in Argentina (manages the Channel Telefé, the Telefé Internacional signal and eight channels inside the country, among other shareholdings), in charge of providing all kinds of performance, operational, technical and production. "Our service catalog is on the screen, twelve hours a day," says Fernández.
The intelligence of the project is given by the company's ability to put a good part of its infrastructure and know-how focused on its service offer. And it's no small thing: 18 studios, 20 graphic editing rooms, 3 workshops Stage construction and 6 mobile units are only a few samples of the amount of resources that Telefé has available to build your portfolio.
Thus, the fan is covered with scenographies, studies, architectural design, production, maintenance engineering and design services of facilities, satellite services, mobile units and realizations Artistic.
Among the activities that they have already made, the rental of a reality show platform is counted for editions of Ecuador and Colombia and even the preparation of a program for Pol-Ka, a production company owned by Adrián Suar and a direct competitor of Telefé Contenidos, the area of program generation of the company. "Anyway, we consider that the area Channel programming is our first and great customer, even if it is an internal customer," explains Fernández.
It's all armed
One of the services that provides this new business unit is, as mentioned, manufacturing and the assembly of scenarios, not only for television, but also for cinema and theatre. Right now, the company is replacing its three workshops and setting up a stage factory of 10000 square meters. "The idea is that between the paper and the armed stage comes out," he says. Fernandez.
Telefé counts with 18 studies, 7 in the City of Buenos Aires and 11 in the Province of Buenos Aires Aires, in the town of Martínez, a few kilometers from the Capital. In total, there are 11200 square meters, with a range of surfaces ranging from 130 to 1200 square meters. "I understand that we cover all the needs that may arise in the market," says Fernández.
