Autodesk, Inc. unveiled the appointment of Miguel Rodríguez as General Sales Manager of the Media and Entertainment Division in Latin America. The executive has more than 20 years of experience in the area of audiovisual production and post-production, and during the several years of work in the Media and Entertainment Division Autodesk (formerly Discreet) has consolidated a close relationship with the distribution channel and sales team throughout the region.
Miguel Rodríguez is graduated in Television Production, and his extensive career started in 1977 has led him to conquer important awards such as EMMY, ADDY and TALLY for various works for companies such as Univision, Telemundo, Procter & Gamble, American Express and Visa, among others. The executive also has a wide range of experience as a teacher of training courses. Has dictated courses on Digital Video, Network, Video Servers and Systems of Non-Linear Edition in universities and technological institutes.
As General Manager of Sales of the Media and Entertainment Division in Latin America, Miguel Rodríguez will be in charge of the planning and supervision of sales and distribution activities, and the coordination of the team of Division executives deployed in the region. The executive will operate from the offices of the Media and Entertainment in the city of Miami, in the United States.
