In conversation with TVyVideo+Radio, he highlighted the trends in technology that he is addressing in the region.

In the world of cinema, the arrival of the Sony BURANO concept is giving access to a new level of access for producers and content generators to the cinematography ecosystem with an accessible investment, which until recently was five or six times greater," he said.
Regarding the outlook of the industry in the region, he mentioned that it has become a very high-level content factory for studios and OTT worldwide. And that advertising is no longer the main source of income for broadcasters and production houses in Latin America.
"I never thought that in Latin America there would be the old forecast that free television had its days numbered, but I have been able to notice that, taking away specific conditions of each country, that concept has gradually gained more strength, especially in the new generations that see in non-linear television a service without waste and more "customizable". for which in one way or another they are willing to pay. This transformation was further enhanced during and after the pandemic, and now we can say without a doubt that it is the new normal," explained José Cadavieco.
About NAB Show 2024, he highlighted that they expect a record number of customers and resellers from Latam, in addition to finding AI implementation in many products and solutions, especially in cloud solutions. "Many manufacturers are developing and demonstrating new and innovative solutions for the world that Sony BURANO is opening up to so many new users, customers and film players. We will also find considerable growth in the number of manufacturers of solutions and products in the NDI ecosystem, which is why we have opened a new group led by Filippo Ferlini within Vidiexco this year, for the development of this growing and important market."
