Riedel
Riedel introduces the new Bolero standalone app, an update to the Bolero wireless intercom system, offering several performance improvements along with standalone capabilities. With the Bolero app, antennas are connected to each other in a redundant line or ring via a synchronized low-latency TDM network.
Bolero is a plug-and-play system, which does not require IP configuration. An external power supply can power up to five antennas, easily obtaining power and data redundancies.
A single-UK medium-width external interface box with six 4-wire analog cables and three GPIOs can be connected directly to any antenna, and then integrated into an existing intercom system. The system is configured through a web-based user interface.
In addition to the Artist Integrated and Standalone Link system modes, Bolero now has a Standalone 2110 (AES67) mode. While Standalone Link mode uses a patented ring topology with no configuration with optional power distribution, Standalone 2110 (AES67) mode relies on standard Gigabit Ethernet connections and switches between antennas. This allows communication from Bolero to be distributed over new or existing AES67 IP networks. In addition, the system now supports up to 250 belt packs in Artist Integrated mode.
