Peru. The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), through the General Directorate of Authorizations in Telecommunications, and the Committee appointed by the Vice Ministry of Communications, held on July 13, 2018 the single public act to grant the good pro of 47 frequencies of sound broadcasting in FM (Modulated Frequency) in various localities of the country.
This action seeks to reduce the gap in telecommunications services, and promote broadcasting in rural areas of preferential social interest, considering the decentralization and expression of public interest in the development of the contest.
Economic proposals were presented for frequencies in 14 localities located in the departments of Amazonas, Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Huancavelica, Huánuco, Ica, La Libertad, Lima, Moquegua and Puno.
