Enco
Enco's new ClipBoard hardware driver combines IP-based innovation with traditional touch control and is designed for live production applications with its ClipFire (video) and HotShot3 (audio) instant broadcast solutions.
ClipBoard offers benefits for use in AV control rooms in locations, theme parks and other environments where operators need high-speed clip delivery to enhance an entertainment-related display or production and is especially useful when used with other automation video solutions such as Media Operations Manager, since ClipBoard's OLED-based buttons display thumbnail graphics.
ClipBoard buttons can activate any available asset, including video, audio, graphics, and ENCO DCL (DAD Command Language) commands. 96x64 pixel thumbnails of available audio or video clips are displayed on buttons for easy identification, while countdown timers display items in progress.
The ClipBoard features 56 buttons, each measuring one inch wide by 7/8 inch high and 48 of these can be used to activate media resources on the current matrix page, while the remaining eight provide switching between banks of buttons.
The device has RJ45 Ethernet connectivity and controls ENCO's automation and emission solutions over an IP network, allowing its use with physical and virtualized systems.
